Try to use your own VOICE. You will be taught how to write an essay that is for Social Studies or English. The teacher wants to see how you write... and how you think...and what your opinion is. Have some fun with it. You might have some ideas that I've never heard before!<br /><div><b><br /></b></div><div><b>THE ESSAY<br /></b></div><div><div><ol><li>5 paragraphs - topic WHY HISTORY IS IMPORTANT TO ME / Society</li><li>Paragraph one is short. It could only be one sentence long. It is your thesis statement.</li><li>Paragraph 2,3 and 4 should be three different ideas about why history is important to you.</li><li>Paragraph 5 is your conclusion..
